International Workshop ‘PoEthics’: Poetry & Philosophy – Homer, Sophocles, and Affections
Homer and Sophocles are well-known ancient Greek poets, portraying moral dilemmas of evil, violence, and injustice. Through an interdisciplinary discussion, this workshop aims to explore some complex issues of the philosophical debate in the field of ethics and political philosophy.
There is special attention to the role of interpersonal relationships and literature in addressing fundamental philosophical questions. The contributions will consider authors from ancient philosophy to contemporary feminist debate.
